Kassidy is a wife, mother of three boys, and speech-language pathologist. She has been involved in sports, running, and physical activity her whole life. After injuring her back three years ago, she was told she needed surgery to repair herniated discs in her lower spine. Instead of having surgery she decided to try a yoga class that was recommended to her by a friend. She began going to weekly restorative yoga classes and practicing certain poses and stretches at home. With consistent yoga practice, her lower back pain decreased, and she began to try more and more yoga classes. One of her instructors encouraged her to enroll in a yoga teacher training program and now she is just weeks away from completing her 200-hr RYT certification! She has a passion to share how yoga can not only improve a person’s physical health but enrich her overall quality of life as well.
